Character Reference: Hercules (Disney Animated Movie)
Tunic made from faux stretch leather, painted with fabric paint
Shoes: eva foam added onto old sandals, heated and weathered with aluminum foil and painted with acrylic
Belt and arm bracers made from eva foam, weathered in same way as shoes
Belt medallion weathered/pained eva foam
Cape draped with cascading ruffle in blue polyester
The prop dagger
The dagger photographed with this costume was made for a different costume (Annabeth from Percy Jackson and The Olympians) but I used it for the shoot since I was traveling with both costumes. The video is the process of making this prop shortly before I left for this trip.
