The trauma has left Will shaken by an uncontrollable reality, where given his emotional state, his reality will shift before his eyes. As a filmmaker, these changes in reality present themselves as real-life films. When he becomes scared, he witnesses a horror movie play out before him. When he falls in love, he’ll play out a rom-com. Will is brought into the fold by a loving group of new friends who recruit him for a major movie project to win national attention. Their counterculture group will compete against their rivals, The Content Crew: a group of young social influencers who control the school. As the story progresses, the mystery behind Will’s trauma is uncovered: Will made a film with his brother that ended in his brother’s death. Will’s family has not healed since, and Will continues to hold guilt of the incident that manifests through breaks in reality.  It’s a coming-of-age story full of comedy, drama, and heart that depicts modern age culture and the social problems kids face today.
